Wow!  Yesterday, Glasgow wedding videographers, White Balloon Films, had the privilege of filming Lee & Johnny Chung’s truly epic Chinese-Scottish wedding.  Our first Chinese wedding, the customs and culture made for an unforgettable experience both as film makers and as individuals lucky enough to be present at such and event.  The day started with a traditional Chinese tea ceremony at Lee’s family home in Airth.  The house was packed with family and friends, not to mention Alina and myself from White Balloon Films and Dominic and Robbie from Duke Photography who were once again a pleasure to work with.

After a 30-minute drive to the west end of Glasgow, Lee and Johnny married in the extremely impressive Oran Mor.  It was a beautiful and emotional ceremony with both Lee and Johnny reading vows they wrote themselves.  Following this, we made a short hop across to Glasgow’s Botanic Gardens for the formal photo shoot after which a huge Chinese banquet followed at See Woo Restaurant.  Our final stop for the day was back to Oran Mor for the couple’s reception and party which was still going strong when we left around 10pm.  We can’t wait to edit this varied and unique wedding video but in the meantime, here are some screenshots from yesterday’s footage by White Balloon Films.
